Water detector LWW 20, relay, cooling water sensor and platinum double electrode, 230 V, 60 Hz, 16 A, 3200 W (max.). Water detector LWW 20 monitors the cooling water supply (e.g. for a distilling cooler) via a platinum relay switch at the outlet (hose connection 10,8 mm) of the appliance. The switch is connected to a relay via a cable (5 meters length). This relay controls the electrical connection for the heater (e.g. for distilling apparatus). When a shortage of cooling water is registered, the relay closes down the heater and an acoustic and visual warning signal is emitted. After the cooling water supply has been restored, the water detector is reactivated via a disconnection switch. The relay then switches the heater on again. Attention: Only electrically conductive coolant can be used with the water detector
